Problem

Need to build a landing page to advertise an upcoming product launch for a FinTech company.

The target audience are businesses, freelancers, and professionals who need to manage their finances, track expenses.

The Solution

Competitors are clear and precise on how they differentiate from their competitors.

By performing a competitive analysis on the Top 3 Competitive websites, we found common themes like:

  • Engaging visuals
  • CTA buttons
  • Demo screens of the product
  • Overview of the key features
  • Lead forms

Applications for future projects.

Designing a product launch landing page required me to apply both my Marketing and Design skills. The page needs to be visually appealing but also able to track the amount of users that would be potentially interested in the product. Although I am not sure if they product was actually launched, these are some key lessons I learned:

  1. Keep the page as simple and straightforward as possible. Most users tend to have shorter attention span and a page that is too complex or not information enough could increase the bounce rate.
  2. Give users a reason to choose you over your competitors. Being able to convince users to sign up for your product requires you to share more about what your product is and what it does.
